We treat our tenants as our valued long-term customers by offering quality new or near-new properties, close to schools and transport, that can be rented for terms of up to 10 years! We can accommodate early releases from your tenancy and we have ongoing maintenance programs. It’s renting as it should be.

  • In most cases we review the rent annually in line with the market. However, in some cases we have been able to introduce affordable rents and where appropriate rent increases with any increases in line with the CPI (Consumer Price Index).

  • Yes, we will grant requests from our tenants to end their lease early with an agreed notice period. No penalties for early terminations.

  • New Ground Living goes to great lengths to make sure that our properties are comfortable, healthy and secure homes. This means that we not only need to ensure that our tenants will value and look after their rental homes, but that they will also be good neighbours and community members.

    We therefore require your permission to complete credit, background, criminal record and prior landlord checks as part of your initial application process. Also, to ensure that your home will not become a financial burden, we also require evidence that your financial status.

  • All of our properties and tenancies will be professionally managed by our local Community Manager who will assist with the on-going enjoyment of your home. We also have a dedicated 24/7 New Ground Living 0800 customer service number meaning that any issues can be attended to quickly.

  • Most of our our properties are new or near-new with quality finishes and high specifications. But should you want to make minor modifications around the home, we will do what we can to accommodate these. Of course, it’s not always going to be possible to accommodate every request, but our starting position is “let’s see if we can say yes”.

  • We have partnered with MovingHub.co.nz to assist your move. We are also developing options for all-in-one utilities billing for some of our communities to make your monthly admin that much easier.
